Designed for boat generators, the Seanapps Gen Set Ignition Sensor detects the presence of 110 or 220 volts AC, instantly alerting you in case of disconnection.

This feature is crucial for preventing unexpected power failures and ensuring continuous electrical supply, vital for long maritime journeys or extended stays on board.

The sensor updates data every 4 seconds, providing real-time monitoring of the generator’s status. Powered by a CR2450 3V battery, it offers an impressive two-year lifespan, significantly reducing maintenance needs. An LED indicator clearly shows the battery status, signaling when replacement is necessary.

Measuring 70x45x21mm and in black, the sensor is made of durable V0 material plastic. It can be easily installed either by adhesive or with two screws and uses Bluetooth Low Energy 5.1 for a reliable connection to the Seanapps application. Accessibly placed for easy battery change, this sensor is an indispensable asset for maintaining your boat’s energy efficiency.

It must be installed at the output of the circuit breaker of the line. The AC detector must be installed with the connector down in a technical compartment. It must be installed to be accessible to change the battery.
